About Advanced Calculator

The Advanced Calculator is a fast, powerful expression calculator that runs entirely in your browser. It supports full mathematical expressions, scientific functions, memory storage, a live result preview as you type, and a scrollable history you can click to reload.

Switch between Basic and Scientific modes, use the keypad or your keyboard, and chain unlimited operations in one expression. It's ideal for quick maths, study, and engineering calculations without installing anything.

How to Use Advanced Calculator

  1. Type numbers and operators using the keypad or keyboard.
  2. Switch to Scientific mode for trig, logs, roots and constants.
  3. Press = or Enter to evaluate; the live preview shows the result as you type.
  4. Use the memory buttons and click any history item to reload it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What functions does this calculator support?
All basic arithmetic and percentages plus scientific functions: sin, cos, tan, asin, acos, atan, log (base 10), ln (natural log), sqrt, cbrt, abs, floor, ceil, round, exp, powers (^), and the constants π and e.
Can I chain multiple operations?
Yes. Type a full expression like (3+4)*sin(pi/2)-sqrt(16) and it evaluates the whole thing respecting operator precedence.
How do the memory buttons work?
MS stores the current value, MR recalls it into the expression, M+ adds the current result to memory, M− subtracts it, and MC clears memory. A badge shows when a value is stored.
Are trigonometric functions in degrees or radians?
Trig functions use radians, the mathematical standard — so sin(pi/2) = 1. Convert degrees with the formula degrees × pi / 180.
Is my data uploaded?
No. Everything is calculated locally in your browser; nothing is sent anywhere.
