Key concepts: Amazon Connect Reporting & Analytics
- Kinesis Data Streams / Firehose – the services that receive contact records and agent events from Amazon Connect and deliver them to storage or processing.
- Amazon S3 – the usual landing zone for contact records, recordings, transcripts and exported reports.
- Analytics data lake – a managed data lake for Amazon Connect data that you can query with Amazon Athena without building the pipeline yourself.
- Athena and Glue – Glue catalogues the data so Athena can query it with SQL.
- Amazon QuickSight – the AWS BI service most often used to build supervisor and executive dashboards on top of Connect data.
- Contact Lens analytics – adds transcripts, sentiment, categories and evaluations to the data set, so reports can include conversation insight, not only timings.
How to use this quiz
After the quiz, draw the pipeline from Amazon Connect to a QuickSight dashboard from memory; architects are often asked to do exactly that in interviews. This is the last lesson in the Amazon Connect Reporting & Analytics series. Browse more Amazon Connect quizzes to keep practising.
